Snow Cone Syrup Cost Reference Guide
I recommend working off these numbers:
6oz cup = 16ml syrup
8oz cup = 24ml syrup
12oz cup = 32ml syrup
Example: You buy four 2L bottles for $100. One 2L bottles costs $25. You want to sell 6oz snow cones for $4 each.
–> 1 2L bottle will make around 125 6oz snow cones
Calculation: 2000ml (in one 2L bottle) divided by 16ml
–> The cost per 6oz snow cone to you is approx. $0.20
Calculation: $25 (cost of 1 2L bottle) divided by 125 6oz snow cones
–> If you charge $4 for a 6oz snow cone, the snow cone syrup costs you 5% of your total sale price
Calculation: $0.20 (cost of syrup in 1 6oz snow cone) divided by $4 sale price
